First off, Thanks to everyone for allowing this to be an incredible sophomore year. It has gone by very quickly, but not without making many lasting memories. I’ll never forget all the people I met this year and the friendships that were strengthened. Thanks to all who played a part in making this a very enjoyable year! I hope to see you all again in the future, wherever that may be. I hope our paths cross again!!! Has it ever occurred to you that maybe you're not too big? Maybe this place is just too small? My reasons for traveling abroad, on the surface seem simple. I’ve gone away to college for two years, and in that time I feel like I’ve done a lot of maturing. I have a positive view on life, feeling like ... read more

Xenophobia, which can be defined as racial intolerance, is an issue that exists within Japan as well as other homogeneous cultures. This fear cannot be avoided and ignorance exists within every country, but xenophobia is more of a prevalent fear within these countries. As such, it is easy to say that, contrarily to many other peoples in the world, most Japanese share the same beliefs and the same preconceived ideas. Japan’s isolation from ... read more

So as i sit here munching on my pistachios I am left to wonder what exactly i am going to do with the rest of my life. I am enjoying the moment non-the-less. So my friend Zach gave me the link to this site. It seems like a good idea, keeping track of my journeys seems like a decent plan. I haven't been anywhere really, but i plan on making traveling my life in the, hopefully, near future. I want to see everything before I die. Well, as much as i can see... My number one destination would have to be Cambodia though. I am facianted by the architecture, and sypathetic of the struggle of the people. I want to sit on top of the Andeas, and follow the Inca highways and study their bridges (cuz ... read more
