Shortly after this picture, we saw a jack rabbit. Long ears and super fast. Pretty big too. We started to head out into the desert but as we walked, the amount of holes on the ground, like scorpion holes started to make us think tromping thru with our city folk flip flops weren't going to work. It was super hot out there, and we never changed into some hiking shoes. We were just so ready to get out and explore as we had been driving for a long time to get there.
