The Countdown Begins!

i am finally making it down to south america! peru and ecuador to be exact, or inexact. i leave in november and will be down there for 6.5 sweet months, i mean weeks. i hope this travel blog thing will allow my friends and family that didn't fit into my 3200 cubic-inch backpack to join in on the fun. they say there are computers in most towns and they even have d'internet, hee haw! i guess if montana has d'internet so does remote peruvian villages at 18,000 feet in the sky! so it might take a day and a half to upload a single picture but at least my words and where'abouts can be broadcasted to my loving tribe. and it might be good for me just to remember what went on in the final days of 2007 when i'm old and grey! now the hardest part of this blog thing is the nickname. what fits? um................................the pressure of a name............................i guess the miz stacy may just have to stick, it's easy, it makes sense, i know the "z" is gonna confuse a few people already...and that would be bad.
