There were really pretty wild flowers on the hike. It was three miles up hill! but worth it :]

6/30-7/1/2008

We arrived in Florence the night of the 30th and camped outside of it. We decided to stay a second night which was nice to stay in one place for a while. Florence was a cute oceanside town. We went on a hike to the light house, which was very pretty. We also visited the Sea Lion Cave which is the largest sea cave in the world! There were tons of sea lions. That night we shopped in old town Florence and ate dinner in a good sea food restraunte. The camp site was next to the ocean so we were swimming again. The water wasn't as cold but it was still pretty bad. My brother and I even found some sand dollars!

Lighthouse

This lighthouse was still working and the keeper lived next to it in a really pretty house. You could stay there as a bread and breadfast.

Here the sea lions don't migrate. They are here all year round which is unusual. They were huge!
