Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
It's an impressive building. The Glass House Inn in Erie, PA, served us well last night. Felt almost like a B&B with the free breakfast in a room that looked like somebody's Victorian living room.
It was another pilgrimage for us today, this time to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. We were there for over five hours! There is a lot of history here and Joe and I felt like we were walking through memories of our own lives as we saw areas dedicated to so many rock and roll legends that we have loved through the years. There is a DJ and the huge building is filled with music, made me want to dance from exhibit to exhibit. There are so many fun videos to watch and neat stuff to look at that after five hours we still hadn't seen all that we wanted to see. But, we finally were too tired to carry on.
We were also impressed with the city of Cleveland, or at least the downtown and harbor area we were in. It was shiny and clean with lots of green parks and gardens. Tomorrow is the Cleveland Rock and Roll Marathon so they

We drove along Lake Erie an hour and tonight we are in a motel right on the shore in Port Clinton. We wanted our last night to be a good one. We had our farewell dinner in a restaurant specializing in fresh Lake Erie Walleye, but when we saw it was all breaded and fried, Joe opted for a smoked turkey sandwich and I got a shrimp salad.
Tomorrow, we'll take our time here before heading to Detroit, our flight doesn't leave until 8:30 PM. Not sure what we'll do all day, but will find something. Any place we've never been to before is interesting to us.
