Our friends Sam and Shamba had moved from the valley near the camp and up into the mountains a little ways and told me i might be able to come out there and help out on the farm.
So i went out there.
done.
And lived in an A-frame with a room attached and loved it.
the Love shack it was named.

And sam and shamba where in their tipi down the road and the family in between was wonderful.

Travis came out there and stayed with me during one of his two week breaks from work in the fall.
I started a list which i hope to make into a huge speadsheet of all the uses of plants, medicinal and culinary. its exciting to use and watch them work. Travis hurt his ankle one of the first days he was there and out i went - harvesting plants right outside my home to help the healing process. amazing.
Right before i left the area to head west i went back out to camp with him and spent a few more nights in our wonderful home. It will be missed.
