The festive celebrations are over, the ball has dropped and now we begin a New Year. Our wish to all of you is for a healthy, happy, safe and successful 2015. We were quite pleased with ourselves last night. We actually saw the ball drop in Times Square from our hotel bed. We watched CNN with Anderson Cooper (I like him) and Kathy Griffin. We were going to go to a LaQuinta in Conover where Cory(son) lives but this place has us in a nice suite and Cory was ready just to unhook the car from the R.V. and let it sit for a couple days. The distance back and forth to Cory's is about 28 miles so that works out fine. Yesterday, before we went to Cory's house after he got out of work, we amused ourselves by shopping at J-R's which is one of my favorite outlet shops....it advertises itself by saying it sells everything from Brassieres to Chandeliers....I bought neither. We had to find a car wash because our ... read more
