We are not far from the lovely town of Waxhaw, named after the first inhabitants of the area, an indigenous tribe. It is a gorgeous town with cafes, interesting shops and historic relics including a very old elevator/lift! Just a few photos from our visit and in getting to know this land, I was interested in the style and architecture of housing along the way and around the area. Americans certainly know how to stylise! Some houses were on acreage and others were in a newer, suburban neighbourhood...which is still being developed. A last photo of a favourite condiment!

Cute scenery
It looks as though the Americans do have a way with setting out their neighbourhoods and houses nicely :) Appreciate all the photos of the architecture!
