Stretching 1.45 miles through the Meatpacking District and Chelsea along the west side of Manhattan, the High Line is one of New York’s most innovative green spaces. Built along an old elevated railway; the original tracks are still visible along the path and we saw tracks that would have led straight into one of the buildings.

My 5th time with A&P on this tour, at different times of the year, but the first time at night.

It was dusk when we started and being elevated 30 feet off the ground, the city skyline was magical as it became darker, so too the under lit trees as we weaved along the pathways between the buildings.

The tour ended at Hudson Yards with the iconic architecture of the Vessel & The Shed (Performing arts centre).

Following the tour I checked how the Highline looked before it was saved from demolition.
