Lovely Snow
New York roads are numbered in a very logical way. Avenues go north / south starting at 1 to the east. Streets go east to west starting at 1 to the south.
Broadway goes from south east to north west of the city, crossing a lot of the streets and avenues.
Our hotel is on 49th Street between 7th and 8th avenue. Today we took the subway to 110th Street.

We were looking for a farmers market that we had been to in this area before, but were informed that it was on a Friday not Saturday. 110th Street is the north side of Central Park.

The snow here seems to be a lot thicker than it does on the other side of the park.
Had a chance to walk though some fresh snow and watch the snow ploughs in action.
We then walked along Broadway back to Times Square stopping regularly for warming coffees or hot drinks. This was around 4 miles covering 60 blocks.

Went to an Indian restaurant on 8th Avenue for dinner that was recommended by our hotel. It was very nice.
