It's not often you pass a baby giraffe in thigh-high prostitute-style patent platform stiletto boots. Even more rare is said baby giraffe with detailed ink art covering every patch of skin: a starry constellation encircling her eyes, a rose bush climbing her neck, 'hollywood' scrawled across her belly and a host of creepy portraits staring back at you from various limbs.

Outside Cafe Habana in Soho today was an unmissable celebrity. Unless you love tattoos or watch L.A. Ink on cable t.v, you'd have merely stopped dead in your tracks to marvel at such a sight, unaware of your proximity to Kat Von D. She is fantastic in the flesh and oozes star appeal. Thankfully she's wildly successful at what she does .... I can't imagine those face tattoos would go well in the corporate world!
