First Day in New York

Hi everyone, this is my first blog post on my trip.

I've been in New york for about 24 hours, on first impressions it is very busy and noisy!

I went for a walk through central park this morning - which took all morning, it's so much bigger than i thought! Apparently the place is completely man-made. it used to be just famers fields until they planted about 2 million trees, constructed rock-features and small streams. It's definately a nice place to go and chill out when the sky scrapers become too much for you 😊

Then walked from the hostel (on 103rd street) to time square which took about an hour or so. Time square is awesome, the bulletin boards are huge, and shiny. It seems like a brilliant way for them to grab your money :P

Also visited grand central station and the chrysler building which are both very big and ornate.

i'll try upload some pictures when i have more time.

that's all i can think of writing for now

Soup,sounds like your having a pro time. Never knew central park was man made thats preaty pro. Finding where you need to go in america is pro the block system works so much better than what we have over here :p Take care Dont get free raped :p Tom
