Hi friends, travelling south😊 i am at my dad's place out in Otto, a small hamlet in southwest NY in Cattaraugus county. there are Amish folk around riding buggies and serving breakfast for those who want it. The snow is melting off, and all is well.

i just saw my Uncle Andy and had a nice chat with him, my dad and later Betty who returned from the library. We tried fixing the horn on the Jeep that gets me to and from places. we discovered that the actual horn works but that the from the wheel where you press it does not. we had lunch together when Betty returned. tuna sandwiches, pineapple, carrots, celery, cookies with hazelnut chocoalte spread, some know as Nuttella.

i am in the Ellicotville library now. it is the closest township. i hear that the library might close becasue they do not have enough funds to keep it open. hopefully they will receive assistance. i donated the 50 cents left over from printing copies of my directions to Reston. that should help right?

it is warmer today than yesterday. froze my tush off yesterday from the wind and the spray from the waterfall at Letchworth state park. 3 beautiful watersfalls there. i saw the upper and the middle falls. very big. maybe 200 foot drop or a little less. lots of water coming over that's for sure. there is a steep canyon that runs through the park. quite amazing. there is also a wierd ice sculpture made from water being shot into the air and when it falls in the winter and freezes it makes a circular sculpture. i took pics.

this fellow Letchworth, a quaker, owned the land and made an estate there called Glen Iris and after cultivating the land, building lodges and such donated it to the state in 1907 and became a park. there was a council held with the Seneca Indains, called the Last Council, commemorating the park, the people, the land and the structures.

A lady by the name of Mary Jemison was adopted by the Senecas and grew up in the Indian culture. her parents were killed and she was the only survivor. she ended up marrying twice. both were Indian. onw died during a intense travel. the other she was named Hikatoo whom she had some children's with. there is a statue of her in the park. she looks like quite a woman! long braided hair with a stubborn nose and an intense gaze. she was originally scotch irish and migrated over to Pennslyvania. her family was attacked in the french, indian war and captured and taken by the Shawnee. In order to "lighten the captive load" she was seperated from her parents who were then killed, scalped, and sold to another tribe, the Senecas. she was named Dehgewanus or the White Woman of Genessee. she learned the Seneca ways and but kept some of her native ancestry by serving "tea and cakes to anyone who came to her cabin". The cabins are located in the park. http://www.letchworthparkhistory.com/jem.html

it is nice and quiet at the cabin. buzzards fly over head and the chickadees and juncos eat the seeds dad puts out in the back yeard. warming up. today was nice and the sun was shining. it was a very clear night last night. the stars were clear to see to the eye.

must go now. Reston, VA soon in the travel plans.

Enfolded Unfolding

the library closes in three

done for writing now

have fun and see

the world and all its treasures

God bless and forget all of your measures

the sizing up, the looking down

all is enfolded in a crown of One

circling circling circling out

all is enfolded and unfolding now
