hello friends, crossed over the Mason Dixson line last night about 11:30. good feeling. back in the South again, officially. i am staying in beautiful Reston, VA right now with my cousin, Matt. Spring is in full bloom. i have two muts here with me Aggie and Sasha. Aggie is a little more mature than Sasha who is only 3 or 4 months old, still learning. all is well.

thank you dad and Betty and Danielle, Tina, Andy, Raymond, Nancy, all you Western New Yorkians. Thank you for the service at Free Methodist church in Otto. MIke did a nice job and i enjoyed the study group. we worked out of packet that had some great stuff in it. enlightening versus and questions like being the Light of God, and what does being free of sin feel like? how is that humbling? i was a little surprised, this coming out of a small church in Cattaragues county. i like how Mike, the preacher, mentioned that basically the veils are thinning between us and God so that we become One: mind, body and spirit, and that Heaven is inside. is this too preachy? is it weird that i go straight from the teachings of Buddha to Jesus? many in the study group still see a seperation of God and Man but they are really one in the same. all pieces of the whole i have heard said. so to study the buddha is to study jesus is to study muhammed is to learn from krishna.

i lived in Norhtern Virginia once before in Fairfax. it was a pretty nice time. i made some good friends and substitute taught making acquantinces in the schools and working with kids with Special needs. this is where i first became interested in students with Speical needs. i took an intro class at George Mason university. i also worked at Papa John's pizza delivering and made some friends there too. memories.

Matt is at work now. so i am here with the birdies hopping outside on the porch looking for seed thrown from the "Indian family" from upstairs.

we'll not much else for now. Matt tells me he will take me out to dinner tonight. looking forward to that.

all is well. live in peace light and love.

good to be back.

the Common wealth

i am back in the saddle again, says steven tyler, I'm back!

back with the rattle again, shakin it to the beat

the beat of ones own drum, drum a lum lum

i dreamed of kids again we were walking in the woods, i believe

this has happened before people, trees, leaves

yoga nivas says shes needing me

i am here in virgina the common wealth

where it is common to be wealthy

where you drive nice cars

the view of the city is quite handsom

when looked at from afar

city nights, diamond skies

glowing highways painted lines

tolls, asking for money

keeping the city afloat

the common wealth of virgina

where wealth is

Love the one you got

i hear birdies singing

reminds me of recent past

'tis the same here as over there

looking for food, taking hand-outs

happy to receive and believe or not believe

it is a gift from above

love the hand that feeds you

give thanks

the hand that gives gives freely without attachment for outcome, without agenda

otherwise he gives not at all

love the one you and all you got is this body, this breath

these words whence they came from?

where do they come from?

Fred

sitting in chair

delivering words

soft spoken

words of the Buddha

leading, questioning, guiding, loving

free, you are free at last

just living and giving, giving and receiving

fred

man of chair

going to and fro with friend of fred

where ever he goeth

he leaveth peace

fred

thank you fred for being the love, the light

looking in looking out

going, not going

doing, not doing

giving, receiving

just being

fred
