As we wrap up our time at Lake Six Berry I’m filled with mixed emotions. Once again The Lake has provided me an opportunity to get into a relaxed state of mind that I’m not able to find many other places. There aren’t many other locations that I find the time to read three books and the entire New York Times on numerous days in two short weeks. (Bousselot: Check out A Thousand Splendid Suns and Atonement) But we are eager to move on to the next adventure, no not Scotland, but Fish Creek Pond in the Adirondack State Park. The motto there is everyone needs a quiet place. While beautiful, not exactly a quiet place. The fun will be had spending another day with mom, dad, my sister Jackie, my brother Chris, his wife Heather, and their daughter Reaghan. We head out Monday morning and should arrive for lunch. And for all the Eugene friends who have heard the stories of the yoo-hoo ritual, ice cream man, and spacious campsites; we will be sure to include photos and video if possible. Peace….
