Weather - 67 degrees

This morning we headed out for Fort Stockton, TX. Misting rain and very cloudy.

Speed limit on I-10 is 75mph, THEN IT WENT TO 80 mph. Saw a Corvette pulled over by a state trooped, guess 80 mph was not fast enough for him :-) Two lane roads here are 75mph.

Getting hotter with each mile we go. NO SCENERY - or at least the same scenery on I-10 and US285 to Carlsbad. Scrub brush, oil well, oil storage tanks, and miles. Got stuck behind an oil rig being moved for the last 20 miles or so going about 25mph. Got to the RV park - Carlsbad RV Park - very friendly people and ok for an overnight stay. Jack fried cube steak, potatoes, green beans and aleta cooked the biscuits. After supper, Jack and Shelby played "Angry Birds" on the phones before we had ice cream for dessert - - Jack & Shelby had Oreos in theirs :-) :-)..
