Seeing our students visit the Dr. MLK, Jr. Center for Nonviolence today was a wonderful experience for everyone involved. They were excited. We were excited. They were reflective, curious, and appreciative. Some students were unaware that we would be visiting the place where both Dr. King and his wife, Corretta Scott King are buried. They were in awe. Many photos were taken, while conversations about the past, present and future were shared. History became alive and we realized that we were in the midst of a living legacy, that being Dr. MLK, Jr. and the Civil Rights' Movement.
