Have you ever been hungry and full, dizzy and steady, happy and sad, angry and relaxed, nervous and calm, tired and wired all at once? That is what I am right now. I have butterflies in my stomach! My flight is on time as scheduled. My suitcases are packed and ready to go. I feel like Jack Kerouac's characters as they leave New York for their roadtrip across the country. Do I have any idea what I'm getting myself into? Frankly, no. At the moment, though, it doesn't even matter. My passport is stamped with the Brazilian VISA and I'm booked on a flight for tomorrow.
