Drove in to East Glacier from Spokane today. Drove in on the Going-to-the-Sun Road, which was spectacular. Lakes, trees, mountains, islands, waterfalls, the weeping rock. Forgot that I lost an hour, so I didn't have a lot of time to explore today. The hostel is near the Two Medicine Lakes area, and I was able to walk a couple of trails around there to a couple of waterfalls. Planning on driving my car up to the shuttle area for the Going-to-the-Sun Road tomorrow to walk some more trails.

That brings back memories! A spectacular trip--the grils and Dave went up a trail that went almost straight up at the Visitor's Center of one area???? I started but couldn't make it. When they came back they said they didn't see any wild animals which was our goal. When we got home and got the pix back there were spectacular pix of the two girls sitting right in the middle of a large group of mountain goats! Everybody says Yellowstone will be the best ever. Love mom
