Flea Market & Fun
Yesterday, the "fearless foursome" headed to the older part of Branson. Here you find cute, little shops and antique/flea market malls. Sam and Cory went to the antique shops while Sandy and I cruised through the touristy shops. The men made some good purchases that they are very proud of...Sam found a water sprinkler that he didn't have so that was a real find! Lunch took us to a big Coutry Lodge where they served delicious, hot rolls by throwing them at you! CATCH! No misses here. They were scrumptious. TID-BIT info: Cory and I met at college because he threw his dinner roll at me in the dining hall.......kind of "de-ja-vu". Next on the agenda was a tour of an Old Toy Museum. What memories that brings back. They had some more recent toys as well as old...almost too much to absorb. An ice cream shop ended the day's adventure. Sam is like the Energizer Bunny.....he just keeps going..and going..and going....while I am looking for the next bench. My cold is better but I still have that occasional, coal miner, TB patient cough.

Our last night together at the campground was spent sipping wine, sharing laughs and watching "Dancing

With The Stars" ---- as close to Beaulah Land as you could get!!!

This morning was pack up/close up time with the RV's. We were all set to go when our entrance steps stopped working! It is a LONG drop down! Cory re- lubricated them....nothing....so he strapped them up so, just in case, they wouldn't open during travel. THEN......they worked. We were back in business and ready to go. Sam was going to lead but somehow Cory got ahead. Soon, Sam was able to pass us and gave us a "beep" with his air horn. BUT he never stopped "beeping". And, if you have heard these air horns, you know that they sound like a fog horn, train horn, and air raid siren all put together. They are LOUD! First, we thought he was joking but then thought he needed help and then realized, his horn was stuck. Let me tell you, we both had a clear shot through traffic.......everyone moved out of the way. We should have done that on that terrible I-35 in Texas....we would have sailed along like a cheetah. We all pulled off the roadway and did all the obvious things to do to shut

it off but no luck. Sandy called the company Tech. who had her checking and pulling different circuits or fuses.....nothing. Finally, Master Sam called for a screwdriver so he could pound on "the damn cell-lin-noid" ---- he did...and it worked! What a Guy! We are off and running now.....both with the idea of homeward bound in the plan. Their distance will be about half of ours so we will have to separate soon. Our reunion will come in January when we all return to Tropical Palms. Just "leave the light on" and we'll be there. We'll give a "honk" when we arrive.......but then again, maybe not. It's great having all that to look forward to.
