Bridge over Lake Tanneycomo
Picture of bridge over Lake Tanneycomo from the dock where we were fishing. Hello all,
We have just returned from Branson, Missouri where we stayed in an RV Park called Lakeside RV. We were parked next to the Tanneycomo Lake. The family visited Silver Dollar City, the Water Park, Hollywood Wax Museum, and other sites. We also fished for trout in the lake just outside our door. If you enjoy music and amusement parks, Branson is the place to go. Personally I enjoy peace and quite so I spent most of my time in camp or on the docks fishing. It is amazing how quiet and peaceful the RV Park was while only a few blocks away one can enjoy all the excitement of shopping or shows.
The first day we spent some time on one of the fishing docks trying to catch trout. My son, Kevin, has never caught a trout and he was determined to catch one on this trip. We were told what bait to use and how to rig our poles. As we were waiting anxiously for a bite, it occurred to us that we didn't know how trout bite. Do they grab the hook and run like Bass or do they nibble the way Catfish do? There

Kevin turned to the gentleman and asked, "Sir, how do trout bite the hook? Do they bite like a Catfish?" He looked at Kevin with a great big smile and said, "I don't know, I have never caught a Catfish." We all laughed and this started a lengthy conversation about fishing. It was a very pleasant afternoon.
All in all it was a very enjoyable trip, even though five people in a 30' travel trailer is a lot of
to-gatherness. I have included a few pictures.
