Today's the day and it's very hard to say goodbye to family. But, in another respect we are going back home as well.
We had some early morning visitors who gave us a gift. Teresa, Nathan and Lee made us a "Wilson" of sorts that is to go around the world with us. They've named him "ernst". He will travel in our packs and have his picture taken in front of the world's greatest landmarks! 😊
Our packs are packed up and Lachlan had to omit a few things. We still probably have too much, but we are going to shed a few things in the UK anyway. Even with a pair of high heels (for weddings only!), Brigid's pack still has less things in it! 😊 Each pack weighs 30lbs, which might be too much weight to carry for Brigid, but it feels ok so far.
Time to take off! See you in Britain! 😊
LOVE!

luck of the ernst
If you find that you're having a rough day, or you're just feeling a bit blue, here's what you do. Pull out our little friend, Ernst. Rub his little screwy bully, flap his arms, shake him slightly to hear him rattle, then, holding him close to your chest, turn three circles whilst repeating "ernst, ernst, ernst", stop spinning and immediately kiss your spouse (who is witnessing the ritual). It is guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face. Lots of love!
