I didn't want this day to come !

Today we had lots of tears.... we had to say goodbye to Winnie, Tom, Marilyn and all the family..... I wish we just lived around the corner, not the other side of the world.
It was time to head back to the big smoke... Chicago, we have an early flight out tomorrow morning. We had a couple of stops on the way, the first was at St Josephs... a pretty town on Lake Michigan. A little further on, in north west Indiana, we stopped at Valvaraiso, so Geoff could go to a WW11 air museum. he managed to get another personal tour.... see what an Aussie acsent gets you in America !
The closer we got to Chicago the heavier the traffic got, for a Saturday afternoon it was very heavy.... just like peak hour ! We had a booking right next to O'Hare airport, arriving there at about 5.30pm. The bags are packed and we're ready to fly..... the cases are quite a bit heavier than before.... hope all goes well at the weigh in !
