Less than 48 hours......tick, tick, tick, tick.... I need to learn more about blogging, after reading the last entry I realized a kinda short-changed the "stars" of the show! More about our friends Cheryl and my wife have been friends FOREVER. She comes from an averaged sized but very close family. We are glad to have her (and them) in our lives.. She leaves behind a career in "high finance" (not really) so she can spoil the living crap out of her, soon to be two, grandchildren. Craig is a wildman...can't chain that mutha down. He bikes, he skis, he runs, he splits infinitives... He is unstoppable... We met Craig when we all worked together at a small local sporting goods shop you may have heard of...Sports Authority. Around this time two years ago I had just arrived back in the states from a seven month trip abroad in Spain. Although it has been nearly two years, I feel as though it was just yesterday that I stepped through the airport threshold and onto the boarding ramp in Madrid to return home. I can still sense the overwhelming array of feelings that radiated through my entire body at the exact moment that I left the embarkment section and took my first step into the airplane portal.
