Boston and US was this time for me a bit of a disappointment. The MRS conference was all right I guess, but honestly the 13 h jet lag has spoilt at least two days of it for me. As to the Boston and US, I didn't really like it this time. Food, if it wasn't in the fancy restaurant, was mostly lacking vegetables and definitely would've been better without all this fat everywhere, not counting the enormous portions, that a normal person is definitely not able to eat. Out of few local museums we've visited, nothing apart from Harvard Museum of National History really made especially amazing impression (though I've skipped this time Science and Museum of Modern Arts). With a special mention of Tea Party Museum, overpriced, overrated and overamericaned with all the unnecessary pathos.

Looking at the prices of vegetables and fried processed food in the markets, I stopped wondering why Americans are so utterly obese. Also infrastructure could be a bit modernised as it clearly remembers 70'.
