1: walking through the ward 14 secs
I hadn't been to the Ward Museum in years. The last time I took a walk through was probably close to ten years ago when I was still in high school. This place has some astonishing artwork and carvings. It is an under utilized treasure buried right under the noses of Eastern Shore residents. It's free for local college students and $7 for adults. A great idea for a rainy day and the nature trail is also a good idea for the sunny days as well.

The really really big gun is called a punt gun. Hunter's would mount up to six of these to the front of a boat and pretty much blow everything that was airborne out of the sky. As you could guess.....they have been illegal for a while.

You can see the falcon in the back, spinning around to chase his prey.

By far my favorite carving. Light and dark. Unfinished and finished wood. Separate birds and yet intertwined. Friggin Cool!
