Setting up the blog - one week to go!

OK - this trip is real now - because there is a blog entry!

The Weavers and the Crofts are getting ready to vacation in Hawaii. First time there for all of us, and we've been planning for months now. We have lots of activities scheduled, with our first one starting at 3am our first morning there!

I'll try to stay as current as possible with the blog, posting each evening - which, with the 6 hour time difference for most of our friends and family on Easter Daylight Savings Time, will be more like the next morning. I encourage everyone to leave messages, comments, etc. It makes it more fun when we know someone is actually reading the entries.

Local Produce
I know from personal experience that Hawaii makes a very good local rum - I believe it's called Hanna Bay - be sure to sample the local produce.

Hey Crofts... Hope you are enjoying your trip. You won't have to worry about any bears like Alaska and Hawaii uses the same currency (unlike Italy) so I think you are good to go! Can't wait to see pics. Karen and Kevin
