Ok, it's a long drive to Charleston and we're old so we will split up the drive and stop to spend the night in Raleigh, NC on the way down. So we will arrive in Charleston on Sunday 6/20.
We have dinner reservations at 6 very nice sounding and highly rated restaurants (thanks, Trip Advisor and recommendations from friends), so we are trying not to eat for two weeks before we leave!!
It is supposed to be a beautiful city, so I'll take lots of pictures and maybe a few will be good enough to post here - please check in with us and leave comments! It's fun!

Jeff, I want to see at least one picture of you with a big flower stuck behind your ear. I hope you both have a safe and enjoyable trip down. One word of advice: When you get to the tunnels in the Blue Ridge Mountains, remember to take off your sunglasses before you go in. (I didn't and was nearly hit by a logging truck because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see. LOL) Have FUN>>>>>>>
