Tuesday, August 28, 2012 found me facing a relatively long day behind the wheel – MapQuest told me 245 miles and a little over 4 hours by using I-95 for about half the trip. I'm a retired firefighter who, after my January 2009 divorce, decided to become a fulltime RVer so I could see the USA. Since the beginning of "The Great Adventure" in March 2010, I have seen most of the attractions on my American bucket list, save attractions isolated in massive urban areas such as New York City or San Francisco where convenient RV parks are virtually non-existent. A Moose Interesting Account
I loved the story of the Stanleys and the portrait of a state very much like New Mexico in its rural, poor in money, rich in tradition life.

At least there is finally an answer to that age old question, where did the Stanley Steamer come from, and, how far east can you get from Cherry Valley? You certainly are have a great time and doing a great job writing about it.
