Driving towards Gainsville FL
April 6-8 Going from FL to New Orleans

We drove through Gainesville, along the FL panhandle, and stopped in Mobile, Alabama. We had some great oysters and BBQ in Mobile. We also did a historic walking tour of downtown Mobile. Continuing on, we started towards Mississippi and stopped briefly in Biloxi, MS. Biloxi reminded us of Atlantic City where on one side of the street were large casino resorts, but across the street are run down houses and neighborhoods. Not planning to gamble, we continued on. We stopped at National Seashore state park in MS along the coast to take a few photos of the beautiful scenery. We originally planned on camping there, but the gnats aka "no see ums" deterred us we moved towards New Orleans.
