3/18/2012 - New Orleans & Lake Pontchartrain/Mandeville

Today we went for a ride around New Orleans and SuperDome then crossed Lake Pontchartrain to Mandeville. Went to Rip's on the Lake - - don't bother. We got seated so close to other tables that you could not move without hitting the table next to ours, the waiter said he would be right with us, 15 to 20 minutes later we walked out after others who had been seated after us orders were taken. It was really surprising to me how difficult it was to find a seafood restaurant in Mandeville, La. We finally ate at New Orleans Seafood and Burgers in Mandeville. It was pretty good food and service was good. We returned to the RV Park and took our typical walki around the RV park.
