As I headed south out of Lexington, Kentucky on the broad swatch of concrete that is Interstate 75, I couldn't help but remember traveling this same way so many times in my childhood. Ah, how I miss KFC in these days of Celiac disease! But I can still remember the sweet, greasy, crispy flavor....and of course the delicious, flaky biscuits. Love your writing, too--it was like I was there. Take care--it was so good to see you. Love, Kirsta
