Tell people here that you are going to take a run through Texas and they tend to smile a little, nod, mention San Antonio, and perhaps Austin, but, other than that, well ... I didn't believe them. riverwalk
Ahhh yes, very pleasant memories rekindled of large frozen margueritas on the Riverwalk on a hot dry day in Sanantone (Texans tend to leave the io off). Such an inventive means of making the best of a drainage ditch!

Texas is unique. I lived in Lubbock for a bit and Dave and I lived in San Antonio for a summer. I have relatives in Austin and a few small towns. See you soon!

We did enjoy Texas but didn't see as much of it as we would have wished. Looking forward to your stories of Morocco.

Brisvenice used to have a river walk - and it was awesome. That was, untill it was taken from us. Still, at least it allowed us to acquire the name Brisvenice... Win some, lose some.

River Walk
I have to tell you that the BrisVenice one has a way to go. Bigger river though. They did the one in San Antone partly to reduce floods.
