Today was a super-fun-family-filled day in Chicago! So fun, in fact, that I am writing this entry almost two months later (eeeks). I remember we had breakfast at a great little place by our hotel, went to the Chicago Planetarium, then the Shedd Aquarium (sooo fun and sooo big), saw a 5D SpongeBob movie (hubby and Finn LOVED it!), took an Uber ride to Giordano's, ate wayyyy too much excellent Giordano's food (again), and then waddled back to the hotel room. It was very cold and dark and so I semi-slept, tried to take a nap. We got back up at around 9pm and then later we walked to Navy Pier and saw an amazing New Year's Fireworks display that lasted... get this....17 or 18 FULL MINUTES!! Awesome Blossom!! It was sooo much fun today!! We got back to our room sometime after 1am and I was absolutely FROZEN. Sleep came just after 2am. What a great day!
