A law that was enforced in the ancient Babylonian society that is not enforced in the United States is one of Hammurabi's code of laws. The law is law 197 that states, "If a man breaks another man's bone, his bone shall be broken." The element of SPICE that will be mostly affected by this will be social structures. This is so because the different people will not really care that much if they wanted to commit a crime. Especially if the person does not care about their own well being, they will do anything to hurt the other person. The crime rate of America might decrease because not many people are fazed by going to prison; therefore if bones are broken they will be fazed more than they were in the past. Many people will began to regret the decision of attacking a person and breaking their bones, for there won't be any taking the trial to court.
