Openly gay youths will be allowed to join scouting in America. The people that are involved are the boy scouts and the BSA, which has the biggest influence on the decisions that are made. The human rights that are being protected are that all people are born free and equal, not discriminating, and fair and free world. Although I do think that more can be done, this is a big step in achieving equality for all people. Not everyone agrees with the idea of homosexuality, but the boy scouts that are pushing for equality are helping people to accept this idea that is spreading.
