Do you think the US government should keep the promises it made in Native American treaties?

Yes I think the Promises it made in the treaties of Native Americans. I think this because the Native profile people were here first and the early americans just came in and started to take land away. The natives did not really have a way to fight back because their technology was not up to date. One that was nice to know was that the Indian leaders could still exercise self government within their reservations. Keeping these promises are necessary because if you invade you are taking their heritage because their home (land) is being taking away. This forces the indians out of their territory. Wars were part of this unfortunately, but today the indians still do their own thing. So this is why the US government should keep the promises it made in the Native American treaties.
