Since the Europeans, specifically the colonist, came to America in an unknown land. They took away some land from the natives of America through force. The colonists slaughtered the Native Americans and took away their lands with false treaties. Over the years, the colonist won the American revolution from the British, so they were able to expand the colonies. However, they expanded the colonies but that meant taking over land that still was not rightfully owned by them. They took it away from the Natives, who were originally from America. So, I believe today the US should keep respecting the treaties they gave the Natives because America is rightfully their land. Just like we would not want some other country come over our country and just take it over because we consider that terrorists. How should we consider ourselves since we took away land from the Natives?
