I believe The united states government should keep hold to the promise it made with the native Americans. The u.s government insured that the native Americans would be provided with health, education,and general welfare to Indian people. Native have earned their rights. They haven't yet given up; they went through some stormy paths but yet they still stand at once. Native Americans people negotiated treaty after treaty in good faith. So the native Americans planned out their plans and had confident while doing so. So why shouldn't they be given such rewards. I think it would only be right for the u.s government to provide health, education, and general welfare to them as their reward of not giving up. so yes u.s should keep their promise.
