I do think the U.S government should keep the promises it made in Native American treaties because they noticed that when the Natives and Indians had a fight and many died the United States government recognized the independence of the tribes. Also the U.S. government recognized the Natives because they were the only people in the continent before the Europeans. I do think they should keep their promises also because the Natives fought others to keep their land and have done a lot so they deserve the promises that the U.S made for them. To this day not all treaties between the U.S. government and tribes remain honored only some.
