1. I'd choose the Old World because they have a large variety of foods. Additionally, they have many types of meats.

2. A beloved recipe in my family is fried chicken with homemade mashed patatoes and corn. You'll need canola oil, Perdue boneless chicken breast, Bird's Eye Steamfresh corn,Bob's Red Mill Rice Flour, butter, Louisiana hot sauce, whipping cream, and Idaho patatoes.

• Unthaw and rinse the chicken breast, as many as you need; now soak them in hot sauce. Pour 2 cups of rice flour in a zip-lock bag and tossed 2 chicken breast around inside it at a time. Place the chicken in the hot grease. Cook to your liking.
• Peel and cut the patatoes into squares, use as many as needed. Boil the patatoes until soft. Drain the water and add 1/2 cup of whipping cream. Allow patatoes to cooks for 1 hour on medium. Add butter if needed.
• Put the corn in the microwave for 5 minutes. Pour the corn in to a bowl, add butter if needed.

This would be an example of both worlds: chicken and rice come from the Old World and patatoes and corn come from the New World m
