1. Piracy exsist today in the modern world because there are pirates that are from Somalia. These pirates go into the shipping lanes of the world and they hijack boats, yachts, and ships using weapons. When these pirates do that they take their money and precious valuables, and sometimes the pirates will take your boat and will leave you in the water. Modern piracy is worst than what we thought it was.

2. The authorities are tying to stop this by changing the shippng route for the ships, boats, etc... To be honest I dont the authorites can stop the pirates because they bring in 5 billion dollars anually. I feel that they can pay the government to continue their business so called.

3. Piracy to me is not justifiable because its wrong, and some people die frome having encountered a pirate attack. Despite the fact how much money the pirates make, they steal it and accumilate it so they freedom because they have money.
