1. The piracy continues to exist in the moderon world. Because of the chaos in Somalia, pirates have hijacked hundreds of ships over the past few years.

2. Authorities are trying to combat the problem by having the U.S Navy protect the ship owners to the designated shipping lanes. Also, creating highly trained force to defeat the pirates. The European decided to take fight to the pirates' home base.

3. I think piracy is not justifiable. Piracy is dangerous and it can harm someone else's life. Also, I think it is not legal that the pirates threaten and steal from people. They make the sea become a dangerous place for people to stay and be cautious with.
