1. This article is basically saying whether or not Columbus is hero because of what he did. Columbus treated the Native Americans harshly and also enslaved them. He forced labor and killed whoever against him.

2. I was shocked when I read this article because I thought Columbus was a great hero that's why we celebrate him as a holiday. In my opinion, I do not think we should continue to celebrate and honor Columbus. He made the worst decision by enslaved the natives and others.

3.This is related to class because we've talked about hero vs. villian. People have different perspectives of one person's actions. Likewise, Columbus is considered both as hero and villian because he found America, but killed the natives.
