Piracy in the Modern World

1) Piracy continues to exist in the modern world in Somali, Africa due to the high profits there. Also, by acts of violence.

2) When Pricay first began, the attacked fishermen's boat to gather fish. Now, the steal treasure, and if nessecary, take hostages. They are willing to do anything to recieve any form of wealth.

3) Authorities are trying to Combat the problem by creating the Puntland Maritime Police Force. Then, the European Union decided to get involved, vowing that they would do anything to get " stomp out piracy". They hit the pirates through helicopters. Another alternative good be put a "ship" in the water and lure them in and capture them when they are off gaurd.

4) I never think piracy is justifiable. Noone should steal from anyone. If the person gained the money through a good cause such as working for it, then the should never steal. That is someone's hard working money.
