Columbus Controversy

1) The article was mainly about labeling Columbus as an hero. However many people didn't see him as an hero because during his journey alot of native Americans were slaved and many killed by diseases. It describes the good and bad things he did during his journey to find merchandise.

2) My reaction to this article wasn't really suprised because I have learned about Columbus and how people are doing more research on him and his discovery.

3) This Relates to our class because we have been talking about people sailing the world to find goods for their land and the sacrfices and decisions captains had to make at that moment.
