1. The main 2 things this article discusses is wether if Columbus was a hero for what he done which was discover america to get riches and new land to conquer. He was none as a hero because it was said he went through many obsatcles when discovering this new part of the world and did alot of hard work with his crewmates. It also disccusses all the things he did to the people that inhabited that land and how he did terrible things to them and how he and his crew members harrassed people.

2. My reaction to this opinion is he did do a great thing by discovering america, but to me to see him as a complete hero and not noticing the other things that he had done to good people who gave and did nothing wrong.

3. It connnects to class because it shows the history of how one person found america and how he also mistafied good people who inhabited those lands who gave to the site of new people ariving and yet they are treated terribbly.
