RIHLA #19

1. Summary : this article is about Dia de los Muertos or day of the dead. It explains what the celebration about. Also, it tells us how people in different regions celebrate it. For example, Some play music for the the person that once lived, and others dance.

2. My reaction: I did not know much about the day of the dead before I read this article, so it was informing. All I knew was that they celebrated/honored people's death.

3. Connection: this relates to class because we learned that some people believed that sacrificing people for the gods would only bring them good and nothing bad. Also, traditions that began a long time ago will be passed down and others will celebrate it as well.
