Kids who skip school are tracked by GPS is about children in California who've missed four or more unexcused absences. California is now giving the students a GPS tracker, worth $300-$400, that'll alert the students to go to school. Some parents disagreed with the Anaheim Family Justice Center in regards of the tracking device. However, the parents reluctantly get the device so they won't be fined $2,000 and have their child put in juvenile hall.
• I feel that this is a great step foward to keep kids off the streets. Many children are dying everyday because they're hanging out on the streets. Also, many kids aren't becoming successful in life because they're sucked in to the street life.
• It relates to how education was valued; however, I have feeling that we're going to talk more about education in the near future.
