• The Anaheim Union High School District has given a G.P.S to seventh and eighth graders who have more than 4 unexcusedabsences. The students are required to enter a code five times a day that tracks there location- as they leave for school, when they arrive at school, at lunchtime, when they leave school, and at 8 pm. The school districts are doing this to prevent students from skipping or cutting classes through the day. some students don't like it and others think that it can benefit them to going to school and staying in school.
• My reaction to this is that I think that it can be beneficial to the students because it keeps students in schools and getting the education that they need.
• It relates to future classes because later when we talk about the explorers and how technology improved we are probably going to talk about the G.P.S or the first compass.
